Our congregation...
Faith Lutheran Church was formed in 1972. A group of Lutherans who once traveled to Clare and Gladwin for Sunday services could now worship in Harrison. Since its founding this campus has remained a place where God's unchanging love is shared with many different people who come from many different walks of life and who encounter life's many different changes. While many things have changed at Faith, the congregation's ministry goal has remained the same:
We are Built on Christ, We Build on Christ.
1. We hear Jesus Christ preached 2. We grow in knowledge and trust of Jesus Christ by using the Word of God and his Sacraments 3. We bring others to Jesus Christ by using the Word of God and his Sacraments Faith Lutheran Church also possesses the unique privilege of joining St. John Lutheran Church (located in nearby Clare) as part of a "dual-parish." This means that one pastor serves both congregations. Each congregation has its own service time in its own building, but together they work together to carry out a common ministry.

Our church body...
Faith Lutheran Church is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). As part of this church body Faith is able to participate in opportunities that many congregations cannot accomplish on their own. By working together with over 1200 like-minded churches, Faith is able to support missionaries throughout the world. They join others in maintaining an education system. They ensure Bible teachings are accurately shared through literature and practice.
